The weather finally held off this past Saturday, giving me the chance to get out and play my first nine holes of the golf season. Well, it was a rough start. In the words of Milli Vanilli, blame it on the rain. Or should I say blame it on te snow! It was quite wet and messy out since the sun hasn’t been shining much since the snow melted.
The first shot off the tee was perfect. It was straight down the line and somewhere around 250 yards. Unfortunately from this point forward my game went down the drain.
One good note to the first nine of the season was that I never three putted on the green. It was either one or two putts once I made it on the green. Now making it on the green was a totally different story that I’m not going to get into. Long story short, poor impact with the ball and bad alignment.
So I guess it’s back to the drawing board to try and have a better game this Saturday. Wish me improvement!
