Practice/Training Routine

Sooooo, I’m going to put myself on a basic but consistent routine.  Here is the plan outlined.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I will workout at the gym for at least a hour and a half.  Focusing on cardio and core strengthing exercises. 

In the evening on Monday’s, Wednesday’s, and Friday’s I will practice my golf swing.  I will hit 25 balls with each club, starting with my driver and working down the line to my lob wedge.  I will then hit 25 balls with each club working back up from lob wedge to driver. 

Tuesdays and Thursdays I will practice my putting.  I will practice by starting 1 ft away from my putting cup and move back a foot with each putt made.  If I miss I will then start over at one foot until I make it 10ft away.

On Saturdays, depending on the weather I will try to make it to the golf range to document distance with each club so I can track improvement.

If anyone has some good recommendations or changes please let me know.  I know we have some very educated people out there around workout and practicing routines.
