So I was on Golf Galaxy’s website to checkout the Golf Galaxy Amateur Tour schedule for my area. When checking out the schedule and prices to get in on some of the tournaments I noticed they offered a discount for people who were “Golf & Travel Consultants” for GolfConnect.com. I went on to read about Golf Connect and what they are all about. It seems to me that it sounds too good to be true and usually that ends up being the case. The way the membership packages are built and promoted it sounds just like the Amway/Quickstar get up. Which is network marketing or better known as a “pyramid scam”. I do know that Avon is the same setup but it is quite reputable and people really do make a comfortable living off of it. The question I have is Golf Connect the Avon of golf? They do offer a package that costs nothing supposedly, but it doesn’t come with all the travel perks, personalized website, and extra commission opportunities. I was hoping that someone might have known someone who has done it or maybe someone has even done it themselves. Check out the website and let me know what you think. I’m the Chicago Tour Director for the Golf Galaxy Amateur Tour. It isn’t a scam. Now, if you think you’ll make money doing something like this sitting at home, doing nothing then don’t bother. It’s going to be a lot of work. Can it be a dream opportunity? Yes, but there are no guarantees and ultimately success depends on hard work and determination.
The guys that run Golf Connect are solid guys. The web site doesn’t promise anything that isn’t possible.
