What an exciting start to the Masters! Tom Watson had one of his finest rounds of his career at Augusta National. Fred Couples finishes -6 under par to lead the way today. Tiger Woods was playing like he never left the game. The crowd was warm, welcoming, and supportive of him from start to finish. We can’t forget Phil Mickelson with a strong start to the week. I can’t wait to see how this weekend plays out.

Check out his shot yesterday by Vijay Singh at the CA Championship. I wish I could make those kind of shots!
So I’m sure all of you are aware that Tiger Woods is going to address the world tomorrow about the current position he is in and when he plans to come back. We have a winner!! Today Geoff Ogilvy took home the win with a dominating six stroke lead at twenty four under par. Ogilvy was unstoppable and help to create an exciting start to the 2009 PGA tour season. Anthony Kim also pulled out all the stops and roseto the expectations finishing T2 with Davis Love III at eighteen under par. The other young talk of the PGA Tour, Camilo Villegas, finished T12 with even par. Next up, The Sony Open in Hawaii!!
Today wrapped up the third round of the PGA Mercedes-Benz Championship. Each player really stepped up their game over the second and third rounds. We had some great improvement from Camilo Villegas who has finished up the T4 with -12 overall. Also T4 is Anthony Kim, Davis Love III, and Kenny Perry. Boo Weekley is still hanging in there after a three putt disaster on the 18th of the second round. With one day left can anyon catch Geoff Ogilvy? He now has a six stroke lead at -19 and showed no signs of slowing down! If he keeps this performance up he will be taking home a win tomorrow.
With the beautiful Hawiian Islands as a back drop, the first round of the Mercedes-Benz Championship signaled the start to the 2009 PGA Tour season. The stage was set with experienced greats such as Vijay Singh and Davis Love III to the young guns like Anthony Kim and Camillo Villegas. Davis Love III started off strong taking the lead at three under par but by the end of the round had been passed up. Geoff Ogilvy took home the first round with a six under par finish. One concern was how Vijay Singh would perform since he came out publicly with the torn meniscus. The injury could have effected Vijay as he finished T21 with even par. Anthony Kim had a decent performance finishing at one under par. His partner, Camillo Vellegas, however had quite a hard time with making putts. His troubles on the greens got him a first round finish of one over par. All and all it was a great start to an exciting season.
